Itinerary:

DAY 01 USA—Guangzhou
Our flight departs for China as we spend the night crossing the Pacific.

DAY 02 Enroute

DAY 03 Guangzhou - Guilin (L,D)
In the morning, we arrive at Guangzhou, immediately we transit to Guilin. Upon arrival, we are transferred to our luxury accommodations.

DAY 04 Guilin—Yangshuo (B,L,D)
Today we cruise on the breathtaking Li River. Meandering through valleys, bamboo groves and mysterious rock formations, the Li River passes along some of southern China's most beautiful scenery. At the end of the cruise, we reach the famous local town called Yangshuo, where we stay overnight.

DAY 05 Yangshuo—Guilin (B,L,D)
Yangshuo is so well-known in China that it even enjoys more fame than the city of Guilin. We wander around the town and discover the combination of local farms and waters and mountains. In the afternoon we drive back to Guilin. Tonight, we enjoy a local folk Dance Show.

DAY 06 Guilin—Kunming (B,L,D)
We visit the Reed Flute Cave, "Nature's Art Palace", and Elephant Trunk Hill, as well as Fubo Hill. We take a flight to Kunming, where we visit Xishan, Dianchi Lake.

DAY 07 Kunming (B,L,D)
We take a full day excursion to the Stone Forest, marveling at the natural stone "trees". Created by ancient winds and water erosion over millions of years, the Stone Forest is a remarkable region of limestone cliffs and peaks. In the evening, we are in for a special treat of Yunnan Specialties followed by an exciting Minority Cultural Show.

DAY 08 Kunming—Lijiang (B,L,D)
We fly to Lijiang, the cultural center of the Naxi Minority. Lijiang has been designated by the U.N. as a World Cultural Heritages Site. Gaze in wonder at the sights and sounds of this ancient city as you walk down the cobblestone streets preserved for over 700 years. We see that the Naxi way of life has changed very little over time. A short bus ride away is Black Dragon Pond, where we
take a leisurely stroll around the pristine surroundings.

DAY 09 Lijiang (B,L,D)
The highlight of the day must be Jade Dragon Mountain, the mythical mountain worshipped by the Naxi people. The bus drops us off at the base where we board chair lifts to access higher regions that afford a beautiful view of the famed Thirteen Peaks. Our rest stop on the way to Jade Dragon Mountain is Baisha Village, the ancient capital of the Naxi Kingdom.

DAY 10 Lijiang—Guangzhou—Hong Kong (B,L)
Depart Lijiang and head for Guangzhou, where we take a train to Hong Kong.

DAY11 Hong Kong (B)
Enjoy the entire day at leisure. Surely we can find things to do on this free day! Spend time strolling the shopping paradise of Asia or take a tour to Victoria Peak where we enjoy unrivalled panoramic view of Hong Kong and its harbor.

DAY 12 Hong Kong—USA (A)
The morning is free at leisure until we transfer to the airport to board our flight home.
