Itinerary:

DDay 01 USA - Shanghai
Leave USA for Shanghai, China¡¦s largest and most populous city.

Day 02 Arrive Shanghai
Evening arrive at Shanghai. We are transferred to the hotel and check-in.

Day 03 Shanghai - Mt. Huangshan
During our sightseeing tour of Shanghai, we visit Yu Garden, Nanjing Road, and the famed waterfront Bund. In the afternoon, we board a flight bound for Mt. Huangshan. , also called Yellow Mountain. (AB,L,DH)

Day 04 Mt. Huangshan
This morning, we take a cable car up to the top of the mountain for a sightseeing tour of the area. Mt. Huangshan is extolled for its ¡§Four Ultimate Beauties¡¨ - unusual rock formations, oddly-shaped pine trees, seas of clouds, and bubbling hot springs. (CB,L,DH)

Day 05 Mt. Huangshan
You may get up early to enjoy the fantastic view of sunrise amidst a sea of clouds in the summits. This afternoon we visit the hot spring areas and the famed Old Street in Tunxi. (CB,L,DH)

Day 06 Mt. Huangshan - Hongcun - Jingdezhen
Hongcun is an ancient traditional village with well preserved streets, architecture, decorations, and the integration of houses with comprehensive water systems. Proceed to Jingdezhen, a 1700-year-old capital of porcelain-making industry. We¡¦ll have an opportunity to visit the porcelain museum and do some shopping on old street of Ming Dynasty. (CB,L,D)

Day 7 Jingdezhen - Jiujiang - Wuhan
Continue our journey and pass Jiujiang, an ancient city of rice and tea established by the emperor Qin Shi Huang. Arrive Wuhan, the mountain city, in the afternoon. Our city tour explores the popular Yellow Crane Tower. (CB,L,DH)

Day 8 Wuhan - Yichang - Yangtze Cruise
Depart Wuhan for Yichang, the site where our ship is docked and awaiting us. Upon our arrival at Yichang, we venture into town for a tour. Later tonight we board our Victoria Cruise ship. (AB,L,D)

Day 9 Yangtze Cruise (Dam - Shiplock - Xiling Gorge)
We spend the morning viewing the construction of the Three Gorges Dam. Pass the shiplock and sail through the Xiling Gorge and Wu Gorge. Arrive at Wushan and stay aboard the ship for the night. (B,L,D)

Day 10-11 Yangtze Cruise (Three Lesser Gorges - Wu Gorge - Qutang Gorge - Shihbaozhai or Fengdu)
The Three Lesser Gorges on Daning River or Shennong Stream will be visited by taking smaller ship upstream. Enjoy a different perspective as we look up from the bottom of the gorges. After we pass through the narrow meandering passages of Qutang Gorge, we arrive at Shibaozhai, or Fengdu or Wanxian, depending on river conditions. (B,L,D)

Day 12 Yangtze Cruise - Chongqing - Beijing
The lengthy Yangtze River cruise comes to an end with our arrival at Chongqing. Disembark the cruise, a brief city tour is provided upon arrival. We visit the famous Zoo to see the giant panda. Then, we depart for Beijing by air. (B,L)

Day 13 Beijing
Enjoy a full day of leisure. Do some last-minute souvenir shopping, explore Beijing¡¦s sites or take an optional tour to Hutongs. (AB)

Day 14 Beijing - USA
Our China adventure is over all too soon as we board our homebound international flight, bidding a fond farewell to this ancient land. (AB)
